Re: Mon Australe 83

Very nice, this size of Australe is surely the best of this range. thanks to Phozagora, I have an Eclatec LCO (like Iridium), which is certainly the ancestor of Australe. If you go to Marseille, you'll see a lot of Australe!!!

Mon Solair 125 (an Ebay win). Only problem i get it with bowl (vasque) due but the bowl is of a Solair 250/251 so it do not fit. So i made it "sans vasque".

Re: Mon Australe 83

Not really. But inside the lantern was written with a marker 10 80, so may be Octobre 1980?

Can you take a picture of the original MV ballast please ?

Re: Mon Australe 83

The capacitor was on fire in the lantern i think. There was a big black spot on the ballast and brownish spots on the reflector.

Can you send us some pictures showing the inside (ballast)?

This lantern was created and produced at the beginning by Projelux a firm near Lyon bought out by Mazda.
