On the Belgium site of Industria you can find still them but it looks that it is not updated anymore

Also Abele & Geiger products are still shown here. A&G is a German company with is now a part of Schréder.

I hope the same, it is a nice design although i am more a fan of the Comète and the Solair.

No, first all are behind fences and most of the lanterns i have already. But always nice to see such piles of streetlights. This is a temporary depot. The city of Rotterdam get a new central station and also the area around it there are big works. So roads are closed and temporary roads appear and disappear with temporary lampposts and all will put here.

Sometimes i see pictures of nice piles of lanterns here.

Must be nice to walk around it.

Re: PAYS BAS

Thanks for the pictures.  They look similiar to the old Siemens lanterns, but I'm not sure about its manufacturer.
You've got in your gallery a picture of an "AEG Kegel", are you sure about its manufacturer? I don't believe this is an AEG lantern, but I haven't seen it yet in real.

Re: PAYS BAS

It is AEG, i know it for sure because i have seen it in a Dutch AEG catalogue.

You had the Kegel (cone), Cirkel (Circle) that was a more flat circle shape lantern, the Beker (cup) that was a "pilzleuchte" shape and the Bol (sphere). All are posttop lanterns.

Siemens Grosse Klassikers, replaced late 80s. I agree the Industria 2600 looks tiny on those poles, some are replaced now by Iridiums.

No, a fellow Dutch streetlight collector had that catalogue. May be AEG have made different lanterns for different countries like Philips also did.

Re: PAYS BAS

It looks like that Turkey had also different AEG lanterns. Strange thing is that I saw the AEG Kegel in Istanbul.

The Grosser Klassiker are now rare in NL.

Re: PAYS BAS

You can find it (little and big also: Kleiner Klassiker and Grosser Klassiker) in EVERY City in Germany , most of the little villes have them too. wink
But about Turkey you have to say too ,that there are a lot of very old lanterns and there are lanterns ,which wasn't popular in Germany like the Stradasole lanterns .
For luck exist there in the Turkey a big lantern - enthusiast or let me say: "lantern_vision" wink

The TZS lit the road and the DM2 lit a parking area. Why the italian version? For me also a question. May be the Italian version was a newer version? It looks that they are screwed on the post by allen screws and the "normal" version is mount on a post by a u-bolt.

Re: PAYS BAS

No, it is called Italian version due to it was spotted by "Phozagora" first in Italia. If he spotted it first in NL he had called it the Dutch version. I don't nothing about a German version. I saw it only in Aachen (without bowls).

Re: PAYS BAS

LIBRA is a very nice lantern. Thorn tries to realize the same design with lanterns Celest but I find that they are less beautiful. It is really dommange that we don't find there in France. I found these two photos on the lighting-gallery. Are they yours? Thank you for all the photos.

Those are not mines.

I have seen the Thorn Celest on one spot in NL, on a parking area of a car dealership. It looks as a cheap design.

Re: PAYS BAS

Rotterdam

Rotterdam will replace about 8000 lanterns with LPS and HPS by "white light". On of the choices is the Schréder Saffier 2 with cosmopolis lamp.
