Re: PAYS BAS

Its a good idea to use these lamps, but why with Saffier lanterns ?! Schréder have more of beautifuls lanterns that these things !

I think one Industria per mast will be better.

Re: PAYS BAS

I don't know why. I don't have problems with these lanterns but a lantern as the Furyo i like more.

About the Industria cluster. In the past there are spheres (boules) on it. It looks now weird and useless.

I think it is the first real INDAL luminaire. Not an Industria, Indalux or 3EI.

The HRX on such a pole is wonderful. The 3EI STAAR looks good, which lamp it has? The Seilkoffer 70 is in my region very rare, but very cute, so little smile

Never spotted sofar such an installation. The HRX is extreme rare now. The lantern was available in the 60ties with or without a bowl.

The Staar lantern have a ceramic metal halide lamp.

Re: PAYS BAS

In West-Germany you didn't get anymore in the (late) sixtys streetlights without bowls. For me it is funny that Phozagora have divide all German lanterns in lantern with and lantern without bowl. @Phozagora : For example the Siemens or the AEG lanterns ,they wasn't made without bowl, if you thought so.(I mean the lanterns in your website)

Sad ,that the HRX is so rare, probably cause it has MV!?

Philips had it in the Netherlands till the seventies for some MV lanterns.

Re: PAYS BAS

The BEGA 9168 must be today extremly rare, so rare that I didn't saw one in my life. Is it made for Holland only?
This skirt lanterns I like much , but here very very rare. It looks like they are pretty popular in Holland, within to which year they are produced? Here such lanterns was been made ca. to 1965, and then pretty fast replaced.

Re: PAYS BAS

The TB200 was being made till 1977. The bigger verstion the TB500 was taken earlier out of production. The TB200 is today rare but was easy to spot at some places till the 90s.
In the province of Limburg where i taken this pictures they are a common sight till 2000 but now it looks that they are mass replaced by Altra's/Residiums etc.

The BEGA 9168 i spotted only in the Province of Limburg. In the rest of the Netherlands it was non exist. It was the posttop lantern of Limburg but now most are being replaced by Industria 2000 or other ones.

Re: PAYS BAS

I like a lot TB200 lantern's. It's an old generation and it's very pleasant to cross this type of lanterns. I found several models quite similar in Italy but I don't know if they're made by Philips. I'm not sure. What do you think about those one?

Re: PAYS BAS

I don't know. Several companies had made such lanterns.

In the Netherlands Industria had also "TB" lookalikes. Those of Verona looks that they are made in the 20ties or 30ties. Dutch companies had similar designs, they are made of copper and had a glass skirt.
Those of Verona looks more 50ties.

Lot of German manufacturer made such similiar looking lanterns.  The lanterns of Verona looks similiar to Hellux lanterns, but this is just guessed.

Rims of the top cover is different, the way they mount them on a pole, top screws, the degrees of the cone it self, etc etc, i found it not so difficult. I only lanterns i found difficult are globes/spheres.
